We have purchased a sublimation system called DyeNamic Infusions that can permanently impress images into glass! This is not a decal or a print on the surface, but the inks actually penatrate the glass surface so they are permenant and can't be scratched away. Any photograph, graphics file, or picture that we scan can be put into everything from a glass pendant to a 12 x 12 piece of glass. From there, the possibilities for embellishment with other techniques are endless.
