Hobnail Cuff (Easy Intermediate and up) New!
Sterling strip, fine wire and pearls or natural stones combine to make this wire woven cuff bracelet with a self closure.

 

Students taking this class need to have some basic wire work skills to be successful.

Chinese Sparkler (Easy Intermediate and up) New!

Do you love the Chinese crystal rhondells but are wondering what to do with them other than stringing?  We set our little pea brains to work on that one and came up with this simple stitched bracelet.  Three rows of stitching turned out this slinky little number that looks like a million bucks.

 

Students need to have beginning stitching skills to be successful in this class.  You may not finish this bracelet in class, but will learn all techniques necessary to finish at home.

Ring a Ding (Beginner) New!

Need a ring for every finger?   Rings are great projects for those of us with short attention spans because they work up fast!  Students will learn to texture fine silver wire (99% silver) using multiple texture plate, melt the ends, blacken with liver of sulfur and then shape the ring on a mandrel.

Class Fee: $20, Kit Fee: $23 (Includes texture plates and wire for one ring.  Additional wire will be available for $15 for students wanting to make more than one ring)

Design Your Own Pendant (Beginner and up)

Chose from pre-cut, high quality dichroic and art glass pieces in a rainbow of colors to layer and design your own fused glass pendant!  Make as many as you wish for $9 each.  We will fuse them for you and even attach a bail to string it from in sterling or gold plate.  Pick up will be the following day to allow for glass fusing and cooling.

This trio of textured beaded circles connected with chain and links makes a pretty and versatile necklace appropriate for any occasion.

Make this necklace around a floral focal you will construt with a brass stamping and handmade beads.  We will then guild it with silver paste for a little sparkle and make a pair of earrings.

Make this set with a mix of copper tones, pearls, seeds beads and crystals.  A great beginner class for learning how to string using flexible beading cable and wirework for drop earrings.

Make-It Take-It -  Greek to Me(Beginner and up) New! 

 

Make this leather and mixed metal project out of  Greek raku beads and beads plated with 22kt gold, fine silver and copper.  Students will learn to make their own copper S Hooks from 14 gauge wire.

 

Class Fee: $FREE, Kit Fee: materials prices at $30, make it for $19!

 

Ages:  12 and up  (younger kids welcome with an adult helper)

Use metallic cubes and rounds to create a sculptural necklace with tubular herringbone weave in a rich earth-toned, monochromatic color theme.

Crochet Explosion (Beginner) New!

Crochet beads on colorful threads in chain stitch to make this multi-stranded necklace then combine them with funky fibers and finish with end caps and closure.  Kits designed by Ann Benson from Beads East.

 

Peyote stitched end caps and toggle are also included in the directions with each kit, but will not be covered in class.  Students can choose to make them on their own after class instead of using the metal caps and hook.
